Salesian Centre Don Bosco - Gatchina

The Salesian Centre «Don Bosco» is a joint non-state educational institution founded by the Salesian Society and the Leningrad Region Committee of Education.

At present, the Salesian Centre offers a professionial education in one of two trades:

 POLYGRAPHICS

This trade is divided into three specializations:
* Desktop Publishing
* Offset Plate-Processing and Photoreproduction
* Offset Printing and Binding

After a year of general education, students spend two years studying the theory and practice of all technological processes of offset printing. They work in our printshop/laboratory with the most modern typographic equipment.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

This trade is divided into two specializations:

* Banking

* Accounting

We prepare specialists for work in banking and economic enterprises. The programme of study is based on the experience of banks of Russia and Europe. The Swiss firm «KPMG Fides Management Consulting» of Zurich provides teaching materials and supplementary training for our instructors.

In both trades, instruction lasts three years.

Students from out of town may stay in the dormitory adjacent to the school, where Salesian Centre staff and volunteers supervise and organize various clubs, excursions, films and other leisure activities.
